"Could not have chosen a better place to stay! Such a well kept property, inside and out. The location is ideal: on the bike path and easy distance to the Trolls... which is why so many people come to DL, right? ;-) The staff was terrific; friendly and so helpful. (Shout out to the lovely breakfast lady who did her job so well and with a smile). The entire place smelled fresh and clean, and was well lit. Our room was immaculate and the bed very comfy. Quiet for sleeping, even with the highway and near by train track-they really were not a factor. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub/spa as well as the outdoor seating options. If we head back this way again, this WILL be where we stay."

"The good….great location, breakfast staff excellent….The bad…..road between hotel and lake under construction so no simple access to lake….should have been advised of this work. Hotel charged me extra cost when leaving hotel, reception staff unable to explain charge so advised me to email operations manager….i did this got no reply or acknowledge from the manager but just a refund back to my credit card after 3 days …..not great customer service."

"The property was everything you hope it would be - the staff were fantastic and helpful, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the reservation was exactly as requested, the amenities were plentiful, clean and well kept and complimentary breakfast buffet was better than most other places we stay - especially the coffee selection. I would recommend and not hesitate to stay again! The beach is an added bonus - very quiet and peaceful. Quick birthday trip for hubby and I to experience the local Dambo Troll art installations. Do not hesitate, it was a wonderful experience made better by the fantastic staff! - Tip them well:)"

"Our family made many new wonderful memories during our stay at Sybil Haus!We fully enjoyed all the amenities. The grandkids spent hours in the sparkling pool and were thrilled to catch so many fish off the dock. There were 10 of us and we appreciated the spread out private bedrooms/bathrooms. Our family loves to cook, the kitchen was a dream!We highly recommend staying here!"
