Summary:
A rooftop terrace all to yourselves, perched above the lanes of Vernazza — mornings here start with a coffee and evenings end with a glass of wine, both with the same view. 50 sqm, third floor, for up to 3 guests.
The Space:
A bedroom with a king-size bed, air conditioning and heat pump, plus a second bedroom with a small double bed (120 cm) and its own heating and cooling unit, and one bathroom. In the living area there's a comfortable single sofa bed (90 cm), ideal as an alternative for anyone who prefers a single bed. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, Smart TV and Wi-Fi. But the real heart of the flat is the panoramic rooftop terrace — the natural spot for breakfast, or for watching the sun go down over Vernazza's rooftops with a spritz in hand.
Guest Access:
Third floor, no lift — the building has both indoor and outdoor steps. The view and the comfort inside more than make up for the climb if you're reasonably fit. Exclusive access to the whole flat.
The Neighborhood:
Vernazza, the most photographed of the five villages: the main square, the picturesque little harbour, restaurants serving Ligurian specialities like pesto and focaccia, and traditional shops — all an easy walk away.
Getting Around:
The train station is a few minutes' walk. If you're driving, there's a public car park above the village (about 1,200 metres from the pedestrian area), with a shuttle down to the start of the pedestrian zone and then a short walk to our office (around 5 minutes). Booking the car park in advance is strongly recommended (roughly €20/day).
Other Things to Note:
No check-in is possible after 10:00pm — past this hour car parks close, night trains are rare and often delayed or cancelled, and the villages fall quiet with no one around who could really help anyway. It's far better to plan a calm arrival the next day (luggage storage can let you start exploring straight away) than to face the stress of such a late arrival.
Small and medium-sized dogs are welcome for a non-refundable supplement, on a lead in all communal areas including the stairs, and not allowed on beds or sofas.
Heating is switched off by Italian law from 1 April to 8 November.
We leave a few breakfast basics in the kitchen for your first morning — croissants, biscuits, jam, tea, coffee, portioned powdered milk and sugar — plus, where a kitchen is available, our award-winning extra virgin olive oil from a local producer whose mill and honey production can be visited on one of our experiences, salt and washing-up liquid, and washing machine/dishwasher pods where fitted. Bed and bath linen is included, with shower gel, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. Professional cleaning throughout.
Full identity verification is a legal requirement in Italy, so guests must check in in person.
Our concierge office in Vernazza is open 9:30am-7:00pm from 1 March to 31 October; outside this period the office is closed, with presence available on request. We're always happy to welcome guests staying in any of the other villages too, whether for a quick hello or for advice on local experiences and activities.
