Checkin was fine,with helpful girl on reception. Should have twigged that something was wrong re breakfast when serving times were not given.
Hotel is new so everything is immaculate.
Good useable room with everything you would need.
Aircon good and much needed in 35 degrees!
Bathroom was modern with large cubicle. Unfortunately the rainfall shower head sent the water horizontally and was no use. There was a handheld which did the job. The tray also leaks This would have been mentioned at checkout, had it not been a total shambles.
We did not manage breakfast on the first morning as we were too late. Second morning, did go down. Not impressed! The server couldnt be bothered to tell me what was available ( no buffet due to covid).
I asked for two orange juice, and got lidl multivitamin. A black americano,and got an italian coffee with milk. Two croissants, some butter and jam were brought to the table,and he never came back! Other guests seemed to have better luck, with fruit, pastries and cereal. Must not have liked the look of us!
Didnt bother on the third morning as it wasn't worth the effort.
On checkout, the person insisted that our prepaid room was not paid for, and tried to charge us for breakfast, even though it was billed as "free" on my booking.
Wifi -ask for 2 codes . Only one of us could get access.
Special shout out to the night receptionist. He was very helpful. My son had terrible mozzie bites and he got ice twice for him. Excellent chap.
