Gem of a hotel!
Hotel Trieste was a wonderful hotel. The interior is beautifully done with a mix of vintage and new furnishings, and the service was second to none. We had such a great stay that we rebooked for our return to Verona!

Very nice hotel run by the owner./Owners. Very artistically decorated Art deco/modern. Also very centrally located. The staff was very helpful and accommodating with car parking and Giving advice about what to do and see

Just one night unfortunately.
Location is fantastic, decoration very nice. Cozy atmosphere. Room is very big, with all necessary conforts. The bed is soft and very comfortable. Breakfast is very complete, food is excellent and there is the possibility to ask the personnel to prepare eggs or whatever at the moment. Personnel is very nice, educated, and prepared.Position is very good: only 5 mins walk to Piazza Bra and Arena di Verona.

Very good location, wonderful service, beautiful decoration, very good breakfast, underground parking at a very reasonable price. There is a place for improvement in the room: there are curtains in the shower, the pillows where hard, there are noises from nearby rooms (dropping water, coughing etc’).

Good Option in Verona
Excellent location and close walk to the centre. Easy parking. Surprisingly excellent breakfast (lots of fruit, pancakes, quality products and good selection). I liked the balcony that the room included. Product they use is good, but I would recommend the hotel to also include conditioner and lotion as they just provide a "one size fits all shampoo/soap". Room walls are quite thin, but generally the hotel is quiet. When checking out a receipt should be provided to guest for parking, taxes, etc.

4 night stay.
Stayed 4 nights at hotel and coulg not fault anything. The staff are all very friendly and so helpful. The hotel decor is excellent both in the communal areas and the bedrooms. The reception has to be the best one ive ever come across with the decor being so quirky. The bedroom was a good standard and clean . The wardrobe was old industrial shelving but of new quality and bright coloured bedside tables. Bathroom was very new and modern. Location of the hotel in only a couple of minutes walk to the amphitheatre and all the sights of Verona. The hotel has secure parking , although a little tight to get in , we managed with a BMW 420. Public parking is close by. Overall a very good hotel stay in.

Perfectly located,
Perfect location, about 150 yards outside the city gate, away from the noise and crowds but an easy walk to train station, PN Verona. I can't fault this hotel; the rooms are smart with very good beds, large bathroom and French doors to balcony (excellent sound proofing from traffic noise) good AC and spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and the lady doing the breakfasts will cook your eggs any way you like!

It was a pure pleasure staying at Hotel Trieste, the staff were excellent, extremely helpful, polite and happy. The hotel is furnished in a very avant-garde style which was very relaxing. We very happy occasionally staying in our room just reading and relaxing.

Really great place. It's like staying a staying at a friend's super stylish apartment. I loved the unique art, furniture and lighting. Our room was large and immaculately clean. The bathroom was equally impressive. The staff were very helpful. Truly a great and unexpected find.

Simply fantastic
I arrived at the hotel unexpectedly early. I was welcomed with an offer to store bags, an alternate room if I wanted to check in now or wait for mine to be ready and a complementary cold water (it was 31 degrees that day). Staff were friendly and knowledgable and drew for me recommended walking routes and which attractions had longer wait times. My room was enormous and comfortable. Very generous size bathroom. Location was perfect only 10 minutes walk to the station and 5 minutes to the main city area of verona. It was very warm this time of year and the air conditioning in the hotel and room were lovely. Only comment, is that there were not many hot options for breakfast but it was all fresh and plenty of food overall. If I go back to Verona, this is 100% where I am staying next time.

Small room but location is great, 8min walk away from old town & Arena. Had a room with balcony facing main street, which was not noisy & slept through the night. Customer service is one of the best I've experienced. Their 3 front office staff were terrific & helpful. Thank you all.

Excellent location for exploring Verona
Only 5 minutes walk from the historic centre and the arena, great for attending the opera! The hotel staff are very helpful and multi lingual so limited Italian is no barrier. Buses to Lake Garda are again only 5 minutes walk away and frequent. So altogether an excellent location and very friendly hotel.

Staff and location were excellent but room was cold and noisy , the heater stops at night ,the noise comes from other rooms as if we all in one room doors and their talking . There was no kettle,tea and coffee.

Great little hotel right in the centre of Verona
Hotel Trieste is the perfect base from which to enjoy Verona's fair city. The location is ideal for walking to the main sites. It's a well designed hotel with great quirky interior design features and a sense of fun. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a simple continental affair but enough to keep you fuelled up for a days tramping around the city streets.Rooms are comfortable and clean.

Easy walk from the train station. Hotel is on a corner of 2 busy streets, so traffic was a bit noisy, but not enough to be bothersome. Close to all the sights, food and shopping. Great place for our 1-night stay in Verona.

The location of Hotel Trieste is really good, and the hotel has potential, with enthusiastic front desk staff and a lovely breakfast team. They are clearly aiming to market as a niche hotel. The comfort of the bedding completely let them down for me. I requested a double bed and what I got was two twin beds pushed together without any attempt to cover the tops, resulting in a huge ditch the in the middle and a really uncomfortable night's sleep. Additionally the pillows are like bricks, and when I requested another one, the front desk guy tried his best, but no great improvement. The very small shower had no rack for toiletries, and this is a real fail in a renovated bathroom. The elderly owner was hanging around the foyer and made me feel like I was being watched while I was sitting on the couch resting. The breakfast was very nice though, and a good deal. Verona is a lovely town and you can't discount this hotel, however be warned about the bedding if you have anything near back or neck issues.
