"Best hotel to stay in if you're planning on going up the Aiguille du Midi. For outdoor gear and equipment, Concept Pro Shop is right next door. Don't bring drinking water if you're staying here. Refill your bottles for free in the lobby with great tasting mineral water. As other reviewers also mention, there is no AC in the rooms. However, it is comfortable if you leave the patio door open during the summer. During our trip in July, we had no problems with bugs or mosquitos. Don't forget to reserve a parking space if you're planning on driving there. There's a convenient laundromat a short distance from the hotel."

Only complaint would be that the thermostat did not seem responsive, as it never reached the set temperature during my stay but it was kept a fine 22-degrees Celsius so it was fine, I just preferred a little cooler.
