Not all of the windows have fly screens and there were numerous wasps and other flying insects outside. Because of this I did not feel comfortable to have the windows open, even during the recent heat wave. Appreciate that air conditioning units cannot be fitted due to the age and character of the building but fly screens should be achievable. The hotel is easy to reach by tram, staff were friendly and the room was fine. Only problem was that the ‘room cooling system’ was actually just a fan, so we were very hot overnight. This is a basic hotel but has everything you need for a short stay. "Nice, tranquil boutique hotel in walking distance to sites & businesses in historic city center. On-site, upscale restaurant, with breakfast available, as well as lunch & dinner, and full bar. Staff very helpful reserving taxis & assisting guests. No real parlor or sitting area, however, for travelers who like a place in which to relax outside of their room."
