"The apartment was clean, we didn’t need a air condition at all. If you want escape from crowded places, this will be a very good choice. You have the good top view at the city near the beach. We were in May, so the weather was rainy and sunny, so we could visit kulturell points and enjoy the see and swim. It is an easy walk to the walled town of Lucca, has fabulous rural views from the balcony, is homely with helpful reading material, and we enjoyed it being cool inside when the days were hot. "Great location within the old city and close to all amenities and train station. The property had lots of character. Nice and quiet. Courtyard very pleasant and an added bonus.
