Amazing place and stay. Everyone made us feel welcome and went out of their way to help us or answer any questions. Owners Clive and Leslie were amazing along with staff Taku, Clement and Clarence. All tours and transfers picked us up and dropped us off. Lush garden like setting with stylish lodge. Felt like home away from home.
The Courtney Lodge was a wonderful base for our stay in Vic Falls. Very professional, super friendly, always eager to help with anything. We loved our room, the breakfast was even better when Smokey the cat was around. We just couldnt fault it. Every one made us feel very welcomed. We’d love to go back one day.
We very much liked our stay. Confidently located, comfortable rooms, good breakfast.
Be careful before paying you expenses, we were double charged the dinners and a refund never ever happened thought several time promised.
Don't miss the opportunity to stay at The Courtney Lodge! The property it self is beautiful, secure and safe. The staff are all very helpful and accommodating. They helped with everyrhing from setting up transportation to town with drivers they use regularly and trust. They also set up our daily activies and the shuttles to those activites. The owners, Clive and Leslie were onsite during our stay. They were both kind and helpful too! The food that was served was delicious and fresh. I recommend ordering breakfast off the menu if you would like more than the continental breakfast bar. One morning, we left before breakfast was open (to go walk with the white lions...highly recommend this activity) so they packed us a to go breakfast to eat on the ride over. There is not one thing I would change and will stay here on future trips in Vic Falls!
Thank you to Clive, Leslie and the rest of our staff for an unforgettable stay!
Really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Courtney Lodge. Such a great place to relax after a day at the Falls or a safari, felt very calm and personal. The management arranged all our activities which was so helpful and removed stress. Both the owners and the Staff were so lovely and made such an effort to make our stay special. Nothing was too much trouble. Always made time for a chat and by the end we knew all their names and they felt like friends. The room was very comfortable, the fan helped keep it cool and we slept very well.
I’m so glad we chose to stay here. We hope to return to the Vic Falls one day and wouldn’t stay anywhere else
