We booked a premium king room and were happily surprised with a large bathroom with a soaker tub and glass enclosed shower. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Wonderful friendly staff for check-in. The only negative was the slight musty smell upon entering the room.

The Arbutus inn was exactly as advertised. A well kept budget friendly hotel. The staff were pleasant and efficient, the room was updated, the bathroom was up to date. If you are looking for a five star with concierge services and a waterpark this is not the place, if you want clean, close to downtown, and affordable this is exactly that.
