We were the only guests at the entire hotel, but they still did not have a room available for us at 3.30pm when we arrived. We got our room at 4.30pm but was told we should wait 1 hour with using the private pool as they had just put in the chlorine. The rooms are a bit messy and dusty. "The room was exceptional and beautifully designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the stay feel very personal. The property itself is breathtaking—thoughtfully built and surrounded by nature, creating a calm, wellness-focused environment. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavour. Both the yoga and sound-healing sessions were deeply relaxing and a highlight of the stay.
If there was one area for improvement, it would be the gym. Given the retreat’s strong focus on wellness, the fitness space was surprisingly small and lacked free weights, which was disappointing.
Overall, Ulaman Eco Luxury Resort delivered a memorable and revitalizing experience. I would happily return and recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful escape"
