This was a great value hotel. The location, just a couple of blocks from both the Esplanade and the Market is excellent. If you're looking for a full service hotel with a formal check-in, concierge, etc., this is not your hotel. If you're comfortable with communications and check-in via What's App, you'll be rewarded with a great price, clean hotel, and a free laundry (that we used). Our takeaway - after our first Bob W experience, we will look for locations in other cities.

We stayed four nights occupying four units. Each apartment was unique but had all the same features. Location of the building was perfect. The rooms are quiet and spacious. You will hear the tram if you room is on that side of the building and have your windows open. A big plus for the ability to open windows. The temperature in the room was set to 21 Celsius without the option for adjustment, I found it too warm to sleep. The tram stop outside or a quick walk takes you to city center. There is a grocery store, liquor store, sushi, and pizza restaurants in the building and a cafe next door.

Small apartment but with everything you can need, clean bathroom and beds were excellents! The common area on the top floor are beautifully decorated and the luggage room were very helpful. The location is perfect, you can walk to all attractions or to public transportation.

The reception staff had clear communication and checked into the room when available. They stored the luggage as I arrived early and when checking out. Room is very well furnished and mordern setup with lightning, decorations and fully equipped kitchen and large windows. The room orientation is vertical and the bed is accessible by climbing a set of stairs. The location is good next to port to take the ferry to Tallinn and there is tram running every 10 mins to take to downtown and other places. There are groceery stores 5 min walking distance if anything is needed

The management of this stylish and elegant hotel has lost sight of their industry, which is HOSPITALITY. When we arrived late, tired and hungry after a long walk from the train station with our luggage, the desk clerk had few ideas of where we might dine and gave us a hard upsell for a bigger room with a Nespresso coffeemaker for an additional 30 euros a night, which we declined since 30 euros pays for a lot of nice coffees and pastries at some very elegant cafes. He also pressed us to sign up for the Strawberry loyalty program, which I regretted almost immediately since he required all kinds pf personal information—passport number, phone, dob, etc. When we returned from dinner around 2 hours later, I told the new desk clerk I’d changed my mind and asked for my form back and for my data to be deleted. He seemed annoyed and said he couldn’t do that because the form was locked up but that someone would do it tomorrow. No one followed up with me, and on returning home I received an email from Strawberry about how great it is that I signed up for the loyalty program. Crummy service like this is unacceptable from a hotel that markets and charges as luxury. And the coffeemaker? Nespresso should be in every room and if you don’t think you’re making enough profit, just increase all your rates by 5 euros a night. Providing crummy instant coffee in the not quite as extremely expensive rooms,like ours, is tacky and unworthy of this extremely expensive hotel.
