Our family stayed in the Junior Suite and we are very happy with our stay for the most part. Our disappointment was more in what the area was missing for amenities, not the hotel, as they were great.
5 STARS to the family running the Viking Hotel!
We were greeted with a freindly smile and instructions for the continental breakfast. The breakfast offers more than what you get for most Continenetal breakfasts. They had multiple varieties of breads and bagels, 3-5 variaties of dry cerial, fresh apples, bananas, yogurt, coffee, tea and fresh juices.
5 STARS for breakfast
The hotel itself looks very old and dated; howerver; ownership looks to be currently renovating many areas, including the suite we were staying in. They have chosen a very clean sleek marble look, that reminds me of Las Vegas! Anytime we needed anything, the family was readily avaibale to assist with a smile.
This hotel is 2 stories, so if you have anyone with you with disabilities/mobility issues, then please ensure you book on the 1st level as there is no elevator currently. This was my mistake as I booked this room before we knew others would be joining.
Nothing wrong with the property condition, only got a 4 star due to construction, so they will be a 5 star soon :)
Area around the property got a 1 star, as there was no where to get prepared food after 6pm, with the exception of Subway, so difficult to eat healthy.
