"This property was such a perfect relaxing escape for us. The grounds were beautiful with grapevines, vegetables, fruits, and stunning flowers we were able to enjoy this spring. Guillermina and her family made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions quickly . She gave us great recommendations for shops and and restaurants. The views were breathtaking, their wine delicious and the pool was gorgeous. We feel so lucky to have spent April at Quinta da Portinha"

"The chalet is located in a smalll hamlet, at the end of a stony road. It is well equipped and had all we needed for our short stay. It is full of 'souvenirs', objects, books, pictures, which gives it a very homelike feeling. We enjoyed the outside terrace with its table and bbq, as well as the outside sofa. "Despite a bit of an issue with check in, the property was lovely. Lots of space. Very well appointed and a quick walk to downtown and restaurants via a shortcut over the train track. My husband and I were traveling with two grown sons, so it was nice to have 3 bedrooms."
