"We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property).
The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view.

"We recently stayed at the Villa for 5 days and had a wonderful relaxing experience. First impressions of the Villa were how clean, spacious and well maintained the property was. From the large and many, well decorated living spaces, to the comfortable bedrooms each with their own bathrooms, to the fully equipped kitchen and one of the best pool areas you will find. The Villa is even more beautiful and bigger in real life and was the perfect spot to relax with family and friends. (4 adults and 4 children) The Villa Manager Benedetta is amazing to deal with. Always prompt and easy to liaise with. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Casina della Rose. Consuelo is a fantastic host, very friendly and responsive and not at all intrusive. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was unusually hot (high thirties every day) when we were there, and we were grateful to have the air conditioning and the pool. The drive up the hill to the house is not for the faint hearted and Consuelo kindly offered for us to call her from the bottom of the hill to check that no one else was on their way down.We definitely recommend stopping off at a supermarket on the way from the airport. Consuelo kindly sent us details for the big Esselunga supermarket just by the motorway exit in Pistoia. From there it is around 20-25 minutes to the house.Despite the hot weather, we enjoyed trips to Pistoia, Lucca, Florence and Montecantini."
