Villafranca in Lunigiana Holidays

I will stay here again. We are new to Italy. This is a perfect, night before flying, hotel. The staff is very helpful and speak English. We rented three single rooms, because we all needed a shower before our 4:30 shuttle. They have a beautiful comfy patio where we enjoyed dinner and a bottle of wine. They offered 6 menu dinner items. I had the Chicken. It was tender and yummy. The room has a kettle for tea or coffee in morning. We booked an early 4:15 shuttle for $15€ pp. It was punctual. We needed that. Thank you Francesco. We actually booked here last minute, I read some not so nice comments but the air conditioner Works fantastic you just have to set it we kept hours on 23 I believe and it was very cool we were there from May 1st to May 10th and it was very hot on some days and we were totally comfortable, the staff is extremely helpful, breakfast was great the regular eggs and they had bacon they had fruit coffee machine was great we got cappuccinos every morning they have rolls they had a toaster it was pretty good the place is what you make it and it's right near the train station to supermarkets, it was actually a great stay and we would stay there again.

Staff members were very professional and highly attentive. The central location is excellent. Rooms are updated but maintain a period look & feel. The lobby bar service and food quality are very good.

Great location between train station and downtown and ferry docks to Portofino, Fruttoso, etc. We based here to explore Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita Hotel features an excellent gym, helpful and engaged staff, clean rooms, solid WiFi and seems dog friendly. The property is well maintained and looks much younger and hipper than the 20 years it’s been around. I’d definitely would stay at LHP again. Did not try food or drinks, but breakfast was 30 euros per person.

At first glance I was disappointed because the room looked like a college dorm and I expected it to be noisy. I was wrong. The room was comfortable, clean, and I felt safe. A nice view of a city park looking out our window. The cafe had excellent cappuccinos and croissants. The piano music during the day was relaxing. It was a 10-25 minute walk to most places we wanted to see. I highly recommend the Social Hub.
