Disappointing
Where do I start. We arrived on my birthday after about 9 months of my husband being very I’ll. it was going to be a resting couple of days to recharge. Our room was ok, a little tired and lacking draws, so everything had to be left out, making the room look untidy. There was nowhere to put our toiletries in the bathroom either. But we could live with that. Dinner we were told was at 8 pm and when we arrive there was no food out and we were told to come back in 20 minutes. When we went back there was 3 other people there. We took a look at the buffet and what a shock. There was some salad but very limited. Then some hot food, well I should say lukewarm, dried up and some was cold. So we just had salad, couldn’t really mess that up. I was so upset as it was my birthday, in fact I cried. We have stayed in in many hotels over the years and never been presented with such poor selection and food. We weren’t go to go for breakfast but my husband said let’s at least look. We did have some but even that was cold or lukewarm. The only hot thing was the eggs that were fried for us. I then went and complained to the manager, who if I’m honest wasn’t really bothered. He said he would have a word with the kitchen staff but, he never came back to me!! It really is a shame because the position of the hotel is great and Villajoyosa is lovely. So we went out to eat after that. A very disappointing time away. Good job I’m still not working for Thomas Cook!!

Amazing balcony views.
Amazing location of hotel on promenade in lovely resort of Villajoyosa. Nice sized room with shower and bath. Hairdryer and in room safe are included in price. Adequate breakfast. Plenty sunloungers, but the pool water was very cold.

Great location, amazing view Overlooking the sea. I would have liked to have the option to NOT pay for breakfast but it was charged and included in the price of the room. Room was comfortable, nice updated bathroom. Very Friendly male server during breakfast in the breakfast area. Had good recommendations in terms of visiting the town. Parked in the street- free parking but it was off season. I imagine street parking is impossible during the summer, hotel offers onsite paid parking though.

A short birthday treat
The check staff were imprrsonal and unwelcoming, that was disappointing. Breakfast was fine except for the dreadful orange juice!

Brilliant
Very impressed with the service, we arrived two hours early but the room was ready so allowed access, a lovely room and large balcony overlooking the sea. We had all meals included and all the buffet meals gave us a very large choice, staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed for three nights. Hotel was spotless. Staff lovely. Very quiet. Good buffet breakfast and well-priced evening buffet too. Didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean. Our room overlooked the beach. Beautiful. Definitely would stay here again.

Everything was good until second dinner of 2 night stay. It was a la carte(1st night buffet as there was a party of 25) the buffet was really good, great choice for everyone and all really freshly cooked. The al la carte, my husbands dinner came wrong from the order and consequently mine was cold when he got his. At 2030 we were the only two in the restaurant, no light music so used my phone for background music. I think this experience will stop us booking half board in the future!

FORGET THE REST, THIS IS THE BEST
The Hotel Allon was a last minute choice, what an superb choice it was.From it's beach front position,The friendly and professional staff,who's training was first class and they the staff made our stay there a real 4 star experience.The rooms are large and comfortable, the WI-FI worked all over the hotel.The food was plentiful but maybe needed a little more choice,(This is not a complaint just an observation) . When you go to the Allon and we are certainly returning make sure you go up to the Valor chocolate cafe ,just up the escalator beside the hotel,the hot chocolate and churros are what chocoholics dream of.I think that by now you will have got gist of our opinion of THE HOTEL ALLON.

The room was lovely overlooking the sea; balcony very welcome. Reception staff excellent and very helpful. However..... In the 3 days & nights I stayed the bar was NEVER staffed. Food was pretty dreadful and cold. Only 1 member of staff for both breakfast and dinner. Other reviews said there are nice restaurants nearby. No there aren't. Just tatty burger bars, curry house, Chinese and pizza/pasta joints. If you want sea, sand, swimming pools and bars, this may be the place for you. It was not the place for me!

Not happy having to move my car from car park to make way for club 600 who were only booked in for one night and we were booked in for 3. No service in lobby bar only pool bar which was chilly in the evening.Food cold in the restaurant was booked in for July but have now cancelled. also all night disco in bar next door until 6.30 in morning so no sleep on the Saturday night.We have been to this hotel a total of five times so was very disappointed.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a trip away in various hotels in the Costa blanca. Hotel was very clean and the pool area is an absolute sun trap with the glass screen all around it. Food could of been a little more choice for my liking but always very well presented, we went full board so just had to buy our drinks that were very reasonable at only €7 a bottle of white wine. I parked in the free car park next door what is just a bit of waste land, lots of pot holes but my car was on there for nearly 3 days and it was totally fine, saved spending €10 a night to park under the hotel in the hotel parking.

Great hotel location and views
Lovely large room overlooking the ocean. Everything was clean and in good working order. The bathroom was modern (great shower head!). Staff was very friendly before our arrival and upon check-in but we found them less helpful after that point. We had difficulty connecting to the WIFI. There was a beautiful pool (and great beachfront access) but received no help getting towels to use. We were told first to use our two shower towels (which we did). When we asked for them to be replaced the staff wandered around as if this was an unusual request and then handed us two hand towels to use. I'm sure they have a lot of travelers from outside of Spain who don't bring beach towels with them. Other than that it was a great experience.

Lovely hotel, beach on door step.
Adeqate selection of food. Different every day. Wine prices very good value, only complaint some of the group found it noisy in the late evening. I did not problem with this.. Will definiately go back.

Super posh hotel at a reasonable price. Lovely rooms. We went last year and my review was the same but we were disappointed by the restaurant. This year the restaurant was much better. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Hotel in late October 2013 for 2 nights. Great location, good clean swimming pool ( which we didn't use but was cleaned daily ). Cleanliness of the bathroom could have been a little better; good food reasonably priced. Good reception staff.

Beautiful location
The hotel is on the seafront and the view was lovely. Staff spoke english which was a help as we speak no spanish.The guests were mostly Spanish when we stayed there.(also French and German ) We are two 50 year olds and stayed at the beginning of November on a bed and breakfast basis.Plenty of choice of juices / hot food/hams and cheeses./ fresh bread , rolls and jams/croissants and cakes. There were only a few restaurants open in November, turn left outside the hotel and there's an indian restaurant where we had a lovely meal.Further along on the corner ( across the road ) the food was beautiful, all home cooked and hot ! (can't remember the name, sorry) we ate here 3 times and the quality was excellent each time (bottle of house red for 7 euros- lovely !) Very reasonably priced. The trams are a good way of exploring if you don't hire a car, easy to get to Benidorm (which was a trek from the station ) or Alicante which we loved. The only criticism of the hotel was that it was advertised as having heating/ air con, unfortunately in the winter months the option is heating or heating turned off.We missed the air con as the room was very warm at night and leaving the door open meant we had a few mosquito bites. The resort is a lot quieter than Benidorm ( and much nicer ) but has loads of good shops and not the usual tat, at least 3 supermarkets stocking a great range of essentials. We had a very relaxing week and would definitely recommend this hotel and resort.

Hotel Allon - perfect beach location
The hotel Allon is a very modern, clean , and friendly hotel. It is situated on a beach front with wonderfull views of a clean sandy beach and a fishing harbour. It is a very easy walk to restaurants / bars. The town of Villajoyosa is very Spanish and has mainly not been spoilt by tourism. The main town is situated at a higher level with a series of esculators from the beach level to make the climb a little easier - not always perfect for any person with walking difficulties.

Hotel location is great with beach across the road, rooms are large and with a balcony as well. Staff were all very nice and helpful. We totally enjoyed our stay but the coffee/tea served at breakfast was awful, so order separately.

Renholdet på hotellet var upåklagelig. Bl.a. nye rente håndklær daglig. Resepsjonistene var imøtekommende og hjelpsomme. Derimot var maten sånn passe, og betjeningen i restauranten gjorde jobben sin, men ikke så mye mer enn det. Super beliggenhet rett ved stranden.

Está muy bien situado, frente al mar, y tiene bares y restaurantes en los alrededores. La parte mala es que se aparca mal y el parking del hotel es muy pequeño. No había plazas libres.

Todo Ok pero algunos detalles no cuadran: desayuno con solo 1 variedad de muesli y de youghurt, prepararse un te es una odisea, zumos de frutas totalmente quimicos. Horarios de Limpieza del cuarto no predecible, al entrar a la habitacion excesivo olor a productos de limpieza; puerta al balcon se abre y se daña la lampara, Tele muy pequeña; no ascensor para bajar al aparcamiento, demasiadas lamparas fluorescentes o halogenos, productos de limpieza en envases pequeños de plasticos.
