"La Massaria is a beautiful place, but we had a few issues suggesting the place is a bit 'style over substance'. The apartment is advertised as 'air con' (important with two kids and 35C heat), but there is only one air con unit in one of the 3 bedrooms only. We had to ask for additional fans. The place advertises itself as a tranquil 'oasis'. Unfortunately, the walls between the two bedrooms upstairs where our kids slept and the unit next door are very thin and the bedroom downstairs where we...

Agriturismo Collina Costa Dei Trabocchi

8/10 Good

"Bon rapport qualité prix bon gîte"

Alkimia boutique hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A very modern hotel. The hotel is close to city and the beach yet sits high above and “away from it all” in a lush landscape with a great view of the sea. We had a wonderful view of the sea from our ground floor room and our semi-private olive tree garden. The bathroom was perfect and bed comfortable and clean. Vasto was a low key town but situated mid-way on our trek to Marsciano. The staff was most helpful in sending us to a fantastic restaurant."

Hotel Residence Eden

10/10 Excellent

"Great Property, free parking, free breakfast, excellent staff. Room furnishings high quality. Did not like the pillows! Nice pool, but was closed one day. Onsite restaurant excellent, but will need reservations on weekends. Extremely popular with local residents! We got takeout one night, ready in 5 min, ate in room. Was excellent and cheaper than table service/ no service tax. Very clean room, excellent maid staff. Nice balcony, table, two chairs and clothes drying rack. If in area again, we would return!!!"

Hotel Royal

8/10 Good

"We read some really bad reviews about this hotel, but we booked very late during high season, so had to take a chance. The experience was much better than we feared--definitely overall positive, even though the hotel could use a general refresh and a more varied breakfast selection. We had an issue with the AC, but the staff corrected it immediately when we asked them to switch it on from downstairs. No biggie. We liked the proximity to the beach; the room was spacious enough, with good light from the little balcony; the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom adequate but not very large, especially the shower stall--typical in Italy. Overall, we thought our stay was good value for money and would consider it again. The hotel appears to cater to a lot of full pension guests, like a lot of places in Vasto Marina."
