Smoky gambling floor

Incredible off the strip resort for a non gambling based trip. (We were there for youth sports). It may be a bit far from downtown but it almost feels like a normal town in the neighborhood you’re in. The only massive drawback is the lack of housekeeping. They claim to do it every other day, yet, we had a 3 night stay and our beds never got made and yes, they took out trash and brought new towels daily, but there’s something that doesn’t sit right when you’re paying over $40 in resort fees and they can’t make your bed daily.

The hotel is nice but the area surrounding is not. No metal detectors at entrances. All kinds of soliciting in and around the property. No refrigerator or microwave in room. It should be advertised so no surprises. I would have booked a different hotel if I knew. Front desk can use refresher course on customer service.

Had a $100 credit that wasn’t applied, but they did fix when I called later. Rooms were nice but opal tower is a longggggggg walk from the lobby. Not fun at 3am. Clean, updated and comfy bed though.
