"We stayed as a group of 15, all work colleagues which was perfect as there were enough rooms lots of privacy, lots of bathrooms and enough space for us all to eat together, indoor and outdoors. Johann was on hand for anything we needed and was so welcoming. The property itself is so well located close to the airport and Carcassonne. We thoroughly enjoyed the darts, pool table, hot tub and pool, so much to do!"

The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy."

"Three generations of family holidaying together for 2 weeks. House great, Eric very helpful, location good. More than adequate equipment in the house, loads of beds, walking distance from Saint Papoul which has a small epercie, lovely restaurant, great boulangerie with croissants to die for. Chez Alice serves coffee and other drinks as well as being the corner shop. If you want larger shops just a short drive away. "Really well situated - just on the edge of the Bastide and about 15 minutes walk from the walled town. Lovely home with a small pool and excellent outdoor kitchen. It had all the facilities we needed. Our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Location for the medieval cité is excellent (about a 7-10 mins walk). Communication from the apartment management was also excellent which meant our checking in and out was easy. The apartment is a bit tired, however the kitchen and bathroom were both clean. Other surfaces and inside the drawers in ours were dirty but we'd taken some cleaning products with us so it wasn't a big deal. Overall would still recommend and would stay here again."

The surrounding area has so much to do, from caves and underground chasms to beautiful villages and Mediterranean beaches. Highly recommend!"

"Everyone was so nice and friendly. Pool was so nice and refreshing since it was practically 100 degrees f. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was easy and very good. We were glad too since up in the Cité there's no AC and all outdoor seating. Rooms very clean! And the included breakfast with the fresh OJ machine is so yummy! Private safe parking with lots of shade a plus too!!"

"I liked: The location, just before the bridge to the Forteresse, and with a nice overall view of the Forteresse from my balcony. A large very nice room. The balcony with nice vegetation. A really full buffet breakfast (North American style but with great croissants, etc) Staff that were nice and helpfull. I walked everywhere, from and to train station, to restaurants, to the Forteresse."
