"Ideal stop over if driving through France. Comfortable room and fantastic buffet"

"Beautiful setting removed from the city but easy to access the city from the funicular. Gorgeous and historic buildings with a great bar and restaurant. Rooms were very comfortable."

"Staff spa"

"Great location."

"Great room, clean beds, very friendly staff. The location is very well situated. Just minutes walking distance from the best parts of town, and very close to a train station + sixt car rental"

"Great location"

"The most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. Yes the rooms are fairly basic but very fair for the price. I would stay here again"

"The dining area and main lobby had a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and the locker room was helpful as I arrived before check-in was open."

"Very nice place to stay."

"Great location. Lots of restaurants and Boulanger nearby. Easy to metro, but walkable to Les Halles Paul Bocuse and other sites. The cold still and sparkling water in the lobby is a nice touch A negative is the oddly configured bathroom, at least ours was, and the lack of espresso machine in the room"

"Great location and very helpful staff."

"Room was clean and cute. Just seemed like older property thsb"

"Clean room, great location from train station, nice staff. "

"Great location."

"If you want a property with character this is it! We stayed in the Cinema Room & it was quirky. A round bed (very comfy) with antique furniture, projector & screen. Very clean (but an old bathroom with high top bath that you step in to shower) & lovely friendly host. Breakfast was very nice, great pastries, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, cheese & cold meats. Location is about 15 minute flat walk from station (with luggage). Near an underground station to get to Old Town. It was an enjoyable stay"

"Clean room, nice staff, convenient location "

"Two brothers operate the hotel between the Saone and the Rhone rivers. They know the restaurants, night spots, museums and monuments in Vieux Lyon and new, and safest places for 2 elders to go. Very convenient to everything and not a far taxi, Uber, or bus ride from the main train station. They even arranged for a package to be sent to the USA! We got our breakfast around the corner at a little cafe and our lunch at a farmers market along the Quai Saone."

"Nice location, close to everything and the old town. Very nice and helpful staff."

"Brilliant location and wonderful staff."
