Wonderful stay in a charming neighborhood with an excellent host. The terrace and living spaces were excellent for us to relax and enjoy. And the proximity to Avignon city center made sight seeing very convenient. 10/10 would stay again.

Beautiful home in quaint neighborhood

Wonderful stay at Rebecca’s home. Tastefully renovated and decorated. Very convenient to Avignon and Villeneuve-Les-Avignon was the perfect base for exploring Provence. We used it as a jumping off point for Gordes/Oppere, Sault, Arles, and St Remy. We commented several times at how lucky we felt that we had stayed there, and not right in Avignon. The village has a wonderful market, amenities like a boulangerie, restaurants, gelato, and small grocer, and is very quaint with mediaeval streets. The property is not for people who have mobility difficulties as the walk to and from car-park and village are steep, and in the house there are stairs to reach bedrooms. For us parents and tweens, though, it was perfect. At the house, Kitchen has everything - we really really appreciated the excellent coffee maker - including some oils, and herbs. AC in the master bedroom (converted and renovated attic) and first floor living room. Stand up shower in the master and tub on 2nd floor. Separate toilet and washing room were very convenient.Finding the place and where to park was a little bit challenging, though Rebecca was very responsive to texts and the housekeeper Fatima was there to meet us and to show us where we should park. The home was spotless, and the requests for checkout - put out the garbage and strip the beds - were easy. We would definitely recommend for anybody looking to visit the area.
