We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Atlántico in Madrid. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and the location on Gran Vía is absolutely perfect for exploring the city. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their excellent service made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay.

Air conditioning terrible

More like a hostel than a hotel The location is amazing, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, those are pretty much the only positives. The rooms are absolutely tiny, to the point where they feel more like hostel rooms than hotel rooms. The bathroom is so small that only one person can use it at a time and you essentially have to choose between using the toilet or taking a shower. If you’re tall, you may genuinely struggle to fit comfortably on the toilet. The AC is another major issue. It seems to have been adjusted or configured in a way that, regardless of how low you set the temperature, the room never gets cold enough. This made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Cleanliness was just fine - not dirty, but nothing particularly impressive either. The noise is also a serious problem. You can hear a lot from the surrounding rooms and common areas, which makes it difficult to get a good nap. Overall, apart from the excellent location and helpful staff, there really aren’t many positives. For the price and the fact that this is advertised as a hotel, we expected a much better experience. It felt much more like a hostel than a hotel.
