Secluded Cabin near Lake Vermillion, Sleeps 10, with Hot Tub, and Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed the cabin so much! It was adorable and cozy, and had everything we needed. We loved how secluded it was, and we had lots of good quality family time together. Thanks for everything! "
"Room and lobby was clean, rustic northwoods decor was a bit dated but charming. Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool, hot tub, restaurant look permanently closed. Hopefully there are plans to reopen at some point in the future, especially as local options for dining are limited. Good value for what we paid for lake view balcony room, only a few other guests at the time we stayed. "
"SUPER nice couple!!! Gave my son & husband a tour on how to get to Pelican lake by snowmobile. My snowpants were ripped and when I asked for a needle & thread, Meredith offered to sew them up for me on her sewing machine!! Completely equipped kitchen including croc pot, tea kettle, air fryer and many more items we didn't know they had. Fridge has an ice maker and was full of ice when we arrived. Entire laundry room for use, lots of extra pillows, blankets and even an inflatable mattress. In the closet downstairs there's booster chairs, baby gate and the 3 baths were great!! Many variations of Coffee, tea and spices available for use. Love the farmhouse!! Very clean, cozy and plenty of room for my family of 5. We had a super great time and HIGHLY recommend this house!! We will be back Ps- you should add strip sheets and put in clothes basket in the laundry room in the checkout procedures in the 3 ring binder. "
Facowie Lodge - (Loon Lodge), Premier Lodging near Crane Lake, MN
10/10 Excellent
"David was great with communicating. Very quick to respond. We rented both Loon and Grand. Beautiful place to stay. It had everything we could want - great parking, kitchen was well stocked, as was the bedroom, bathroom and the entire lodge. Great location too. Snowmobile trails were very close. "
"The place had everything you need inside the home for cooking, have all sorts of games if yhe weather is unfavorable. Outside has great deck space plenty of outdoor seating and the vies are awsome. "
"Very nice house, clean, and easy with nice backyard and lots of room and amenities! Everything was just as represented by the owner. Such a nice house with a great setup. Cook is an awesome small community! Wonderful breakfast and lunch options at coffee shop downtown. Cool theater which we have went to before but it was closed when we were in town. Clean grocery store. Moosebirds ice cream up the road! What could be better?!? "
Great Fishing, Gorgeous Views, Private Cabin on Pelican Lake
10/10 Excellent
"My family of 4 had a great time here. The lake views and sunsets were amazing, the fishing was great (two largemouth bass over 3 lbs!), we saw bald eagles, loons, mink, Canadian geese, ducks and deer, and the location was perfect: close to town but very private. We never even saw a neighbor. The cabin itself was comfortable and there were so many little extras that made the stay even more enjoyable and showed how much the owners care. A soda stream machine, fire blankets just in case (may seem silly, but it made me feel like the owners have really taken the time to make sure everything is as safe as possible), wire baskets with battery operated lanterns next to each bed in the bunk room, games, a great booklet with all the information you might need about the house, the area, the best local places to eat and more. They even had a book about the local history and another dedicated to tying fishing knots. It was our favorite lake house rental!"
