Somewhat disappointed unfortunately. A lot of things simply could have been better. Particularly service. On Thursday 17th September the service was extremely poor. By the evening of Saturday 19th things were improving. Just not the standard expected. Not enough staff. Staff clearly very over worked. Lack of management evident. Puts us off Belmond. We picked this property over the Four Seasons and in hindsight would not have done so. Go here for dinner and the view.

A wonderful and restful place within easy access to must-see sights. Pisa is about 1 hour drive and so is Vinci. A 10 minute drive takes you to the trainstation and for a few Euros you are in Florence in 20 minutes. The Villa Castelletti has uniquely decorated rooms and is surrounded by beautiful green grounds. The staff is absolutely great (yes everybody!) and we were expecially lucky to meet Diego who is a treasure of knowledge and only too happy to share it all with the guests. The fact that...

Spent 9 days touring Tuscany. From the moment we arrived until we departed the service was excellent - nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff.Parking available free nearby - 200 metres. Train station 10 minutes walk. Small number of rooms ensures very personal service. Large bedroom and very large modern bathroom.Superb value. I doubted prior reviews could be totally true but they were. Would stay in this hotel anytime. Highly recommended.

Working tuscan farm with award winning wines and olive oil. The 10 euro red in the room will knock your socks of. The restaurant just outside of town is tremendous. (staff can help you get a table). 30 minute bus ride to florence leaves you 5 minutes from the duomo and the rest of the sites. The rooms were big, clean and comfort. I selected this hotel because I didn't want to hastle with the traffic, noise and parking in florence. Great experience!

My wife had been working full on for 3 months on a project & we decided to go to Villa Cora to re-charge ! I would say it was the best hotel experience we have ever had ! Karina in the Spa has hands of magic ! And all the staff where amazing and had passion for the Villa & it’s guests which was refreshing! Lorenzo was a stand out here every detail catered for! It’s now going to be an annual trip!

This is a fabulous little boutique hotel in walking distance of all attractions in Florence. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It has recently been renovated to a very high standard. Room was very comfortable and the staff were all so helpful. There is complementary afternoon tea/coffee with cakes, pastries and sandwiches in the bar from 5 until 7 every night with I thought was a lovely treat after a day of sight seeing.
