"We arrived at 10:30 pm from the airport. No staff at the front desk. Waited for 20 minutes before a female staff member came to the desk. No explanation or apology. She begrudgingly informed me that they had no vacancy for the night. I showed her my reservation that we had made over a month prior. She then took my credit card and name, found my reservation and swiped my card for incidentals. I was told that it would be a while due to a glitch in the reservation system…no problem. I understand that things happen. I looked at my account and noticed that my card was charged double. I went back up to the counter to inform her about the double charge. She said “don’t worry about it” and then proceeded to tell me that there was no room and that she was the only staff in the hotel and she did not know what to do. We were exhausted. I asked if we should be looking for another hotel. She could not give any direction other than to say that the hotel overbooked and to wait a little longer. A few other families walked in and immediately were given rooms. At this point it had been almost hour and a half. I went back up to the desk and questioned why we were the only reservation affected by the “glitch”. She could not give me an answer except for “there are rooms but they are dirty and I am the only one here”. I walked away to look for another hotel and when I returned, my minor son had been given a hotel key. No signatures, No ID. Room was a single bed when reserved two."

"We stay here every year. Convenient to highways and not far from the airport. We love the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great! Something for everyone.. The rooms are clean."

"I chose this hotel because of its proximity to BDL, and after reading some positive reviews. I’m not sure how long ago the reviews were written, but the property looks like it needs some attention, and I was very disappointed that Wyndham has it’s name associated with this place! Initially, I was given a room, and when I opened the door, saw the bed was unmade, so I returned to the front desk and was then given an acceptable room. Next time, I will spend more $ and stay somewhere else."

"no hair conditioner short breakfast hours 6-9 am sharp, ran out of coffee quickly and milk was old, in room coffee teabags did not make drinkable coffee. Have a laundry room."

"Beware of roaches"

"The location of the hotel was great for us. It has a SPECTACULAR view of the Connecticut State Capital and the surrounding green space. Be sure to ask for the view room, as this was what made the stay worthwhile. It was a 10 minute walk to Dunkin Park, a minor league baseball stadium. Attending an event there was the reason for our stay. The adjacent neighborhood is not great. The hotel, while clean, is old and not in top condition. The room itself had been updated, but the bathroom showed a lot of wear."

"Stayed here as we were visiting Six Flags New England. Hotel was clean, Staff were very nice, Check in and check out were easy. Had a really nice breakfast selection and nice dining area. Good value for the money."
