"The staff could have greet us better, they weren't disrespectful just dry. The bathroon need a renewal. The price was a litter high for the condition of the room and overall. "

"Hotel needs some TLC. Pool closed, elevator broken, looks like a ghost town/eerie in the atrium area where rooms face out. Continental breakfast wasn’t maintained….just thrown out on the tables. Front desk worker frustrated when we told her they were out of coffee. She asked if we checked both canisters (which we did) so she sighed and said she’d make some more. Went back to our rooms and our keys had been deactivated. Walked back downstairs to tell same front desk worker our keys deactivated and she said that’s standard because it’s check out day. Well….we hadn’t checked out yet….just went down to get coffee (which ended up being luke warm). Signs taped up all over the property telling patrons things they can and can’t do (like take food back to your room)….very unprofessional. Will not be back (and our son is a student at Purdue so we’ll be back often)."

"The stay here was a horrible experience. The hotel uses a parking garage near by. When checking in I had to park on the 5th level. 1) The elevator at the garage was out of order so I had to take the stairs even though I was recently recovering from a broken foot. When I complained at the hotel they said it was not their garage a that the elevator had been out of order for over a year! Unacceptable! 2) when I left the garage with my car later in the day I discovered the validation of the ticket did not work so I had to pay out of pocket for the parking which the hotel refused to reimburse me. Their frequent reminder to watch out that I don’t ruin the magnetization later revealed their machine to validate did not always work a they knew it. I have never had problems with tickets getting demagnetized. I know this can happen, but their warning revealed they had technical problems. 3). The rook lacked the ability to have additional security in that turning the knob to the deadbolt did nothing and there was no security latch on the inside either. 4). The shower was very unsafe in that the floor was very slippery when using the shower. No anti slip strip or anything. It is an accident ready to happen! 5). When turning off the shower experienced the know falling off to the floor. I had to screw it back on. Such shoddy workmanship!"

"We arrived at 2am and no issues in parking and there was staff at check in counter to help us which was great. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent; eggs, sausages, couple of cereals, bagels, muffins, wafflemaker, a fruit and OJ, milk, coffee (which is available through the day and night) and ample seating. The main issues were: very lukewarm - almost cold shower water and low water pressure. When we asked about it, we were told that it maybe due to lot of guests running shower at the same time. Well we tried around 6pm in the evening and same issue and when asked to the staff again, we were pretty much provided the same answer. Other issue was quite a few appliances (AC, Fridge and couldn't make out which other one) made weird noises through the night and if you are a light sleeper, it doesn't help. Property is bit dated and it shows but functional. Overall - I mostly won't stay here again if I have similar choices. "

"I stay at the Hampton in Lafayette a couple times a year. Rooms are always clean and stocked with amenities. The staff is friendly and very helpful. "

"Floor of the toom was dirty. Shower had damage and could have been cleaned better. Kitchenette was very good. Breakfast was sub-par and glass was chipped. Nice facility that could improve."
