"This place is ideally located across from the train station and close to shops, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom cleaned daily. The bed had an electric blanket on it which would be great in winter, though I made use of a lighter blanket that was available instead as I am a hot sleeper. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no aircon in the bedrooms while there is everywhere else - though a fan was provided, it didn't really do much."

"A lovely hotel to stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and very cosy. Staff were amazing especially when our Gas fireplace was not working, they went out of there way to get it fix which at the end they just gave us another room with a fireplace working That’s what we call customer service."

AC was a lifesaver on the 40+ degrees days, however didn't quite make it to the bedrooms. The pedstool fans in each room sufficed in the cooler evenings. Friendly, helpful staff with good communication made for smooth planning. and pack up. "
