"Our trouble started when we went to our room. The door would not open. I had to use my body to get the door open since we were in we agreed to wait til morning to report the problem. We turned the heat on as it was cool in the room, got ready for bed and then the heater started making a banging noise. Needless to say we did not sleep well. The next morning we reported the problems, were told someone would fix them and off we went. Upon return we were happy to see that the door opened much easier, only a little push, the heater how ever still made a noise. I went to the frunt desk to get blankets and to again report the problem with the heater. I was assured someone would be up to look at it. That never happened. The blankets came in handy. The next morning I went to get coffee, came back to the room and had to bust down the door again. Needless to say I was glad we were leaving. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite consistent long lines at the check n counter. "

"The breakfast was plenty good. Even my picky daughter liked it! The room was nice and comfortable and exactly what we needed, especially for the price. It was a very pleasant stay!"

"Very nice hotel in a great location. Conveniently located a short walk to the Metro. Breakfast was a little better than typical continental breakfasts at other hotels. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the parking situation. The parking garage below the hotel is extremely tight…. As in multi point turns around the corners. "

"Lobby and room clean. Amenities in room sufficient. Staff helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant delicious. Temperature controls easy. Hotel in safe location in Arlington VA. Metro train right next to property. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. "

"The rooms were extremely outdated and looked straight out of the 1990s. The AC kept shutting off, leaving the room either uncomfortably hot or freezing cold. The furniture looked like it hadn’t been replaced in years, and the walls were painted yellow with obvious spot‑painting that made everything look even worse. Overall, I can honestly say this is one of the worst Holiday Inns I’ve ever stayed in."

"Was under construction in lobby, front desk the whole second floor, no pool had to pay 39.99 for parking could not get out of parking area for all the construction material. the elevators were very slow and were held together with plywood. I booked this place because it was marked WONDERFUL well it was not .When checking out the clerk had to move so a drywall patcher could patch the wall..that is not wonderful. If a property is under construction and amenities are not available don't charge the regular price because you don't get what you paid for"
