"This property is wonderful if you are looking for a quiet French countryside chateau to stay at. It has blue herons, many cats, a rooster and fish in the pond out in front with a wonderful salt water pool. Definitely recommended. "
"We loved our stay at Château de Nazelles! Everyone was so welcoming and kind (including sweet Poppy!) and the setting cannot be beat. Just tucked away enough to feel like a private oasis but an easy and quick drive into Amboise, which was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the Loire. Hope to be back soon, especially when the stunning pool is open! "
"The property is one of a kind with its natural caves. Christophe the host along with his dog and cat make you feel welcome upon arrival. The property is truly remarkable albeit slightly humid as it is a natural cave. With a swimming pool surrounded by natural rock and rooms that are one of a kind, it is worth staying at Le Clos de l'Hermitage."

We enjoyed eating the continental breakfast on the patio outside each morning and loved relaxing by the pool after exploring during the day. "Excellent place for a family get together. Amboise within walking distance. peaceful grounds of chateau. The pool was so welcome as was the bbq. We would recommend the Château for a comfortable stay in France. "
