Good value for a walkable hotel. The room we were given was a bit musty, but it seemed fine after we aired it out. Also the room was at the end of a hallway where all the lights were off, which was a bit odd. The pool looked incredible, but I didn’t get a chance to try it. They were nice enough to let us park Vespas inside the gate for safety. Overall it was decent. If I had stayed more than one night, I would consider something more updated.

Hotel is traditional European style, beautiful wood, simple towels and bedding. Bathrooms impeccable, modern. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Location is excellent for touring Voltera. Note: Voltera is very hilly; the property is a walk uphill to the city center. Very convenient.

Nice we can park for free next to the hotel. The centre is on walking distance, like 10 minutes. The furniture and beds where a little bit old but all was very clean. We had many delay with the flight so we where just on time for the check-in (23.00). If we where later we had a problem because there is then nobody. Good to know this. We stay for 1 day and for us it’s was perfect!

A nice hotel in Volterra, but not at all disabled friendly for our 88 year-old mother. Rooms very dated. Could also do with a good refurbishment, a selection of international tv channels and hot breakfast choices.

Helt greit hotell

Greit hotell, trenger litt oppussing. Greit renhold. Frokosten var OK, maten i restauranten var veldig bra. Sentrum i Volterra er drøyt 15 minutter unna, ganske bratt oppover.

Great location and views ok hotel

The location is beautiful the views of the Tuscan hills from the balcony were amazing. There is also a very nice restaurant there for dinner. The down side is there is no hot breakfast which with a nice restaurant is strange. Also the rooms are extremely dated, to the point of being uncomfortable. Also if you go in the fall there is no real heating so it was very cold at night. There was an AC so I assume in the summer it’s fine but in October without heat it was quite cold.
