"Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away."

"It’s an old building… with an overgrown garden like an haunted mansion. First impression was to run… seemed like a horror movie set. Old furniture with dantesque paintings in this dark manor. BUT… we stayed as was only a motorway stop. Dinner was in the middle of the garden… and food was AMAZING. Room was super specious and super clean… with all the accessories. Breakfast was generous and well presented in a room from 1830!! Great value for money… and super well connected to lovely locations...

Top Vou Hotel Reviews

Mister Bed Chambray lès Tours

8/10 Good

"It was a convenient and cheap stop in our road trip. It is in a convenient location near the highway and has a few restaurants options at walking distance. We enjoyed our stay overall but it could have been better with a few improvements. The carpet in the room wasn't the cleanest, the shower was very small, and the breakfast buffet was missing savoury options."

Château de la Bourdaisière

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was attentive. Grounds amazing. The gardens were spectacular! Room was large and comfortable with a little bit of wear."

Kyriad Tours Sud - Ballan Miré

10/10 Excellent

"Very friendly staff and a warm welcome for us and our bikes on arrival and we appreciated the option of having dinner on site as it was pouring rain. The dinner was excellent and tasty even though not cooked on the premises. We appreciated the use of the kettle downstairs in the lobby but would have like one in the room. We had a problem during our stay and the staff member Tom went above and beyond to help us - he was polite, understanding and everything you could wish for. Great shower and rooms."

Pierre & Vacances Residence Le Moulin des Cordeliers Loches

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay here! It is in a lovely town full of little shops and restaurants. Right by a castle. We upgraded and got a beautiful view of the castle with a balcony. Nice pool. You do need to make up your bed, bring extra toilet paper and tidy up before you go! Friendly staff we encountered and perfect location to visit all the chateaus in the Loire Valley."

HÔTEL DE LA CITÉ ROYALE

8/10 Good

"Hôtel magnifique situé au cœur de Loche. La chambre est très spacieuse et confortable. Seul bémol est le tapis. Il était taché à plusieurs endroits. Son apparence fait en sorte que la chambre semble sale."

Brit Hotel Confort Loches

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely modern hotel in a quiet spot but by a restaurant which you got a discount in. Very clean and staff were friendly, WiFi worked well and there was secured parking. Would definitely recommend."

Château d'Artigny

10/10 Excellent

"Best chateau I have stayed in. Five star staff, building and facilities. All common rooms excellent. Excellent views, location. There are no negatives. Would happily stay there again.”"

KYRIAD DIRECT Tours Sud - Chambray Lès Tours

10/10 Excellent

"Small hotel but ideal for a stopover. Near variety of eateries. Free parking."

Château de Razay
