"Curtains were dirty. Did not like that we had to make our beds on arriving and strip beds on departure. Lift was not working and we were not advised before arrival. Not great if you have mobility issues "

"Great location, great A/C, as advertised. Could do with more towels, as well as a kitchen towel, and kitchen sponge/scrubber as you need to leave the property as you found it. Will return. "

"The location is perfect and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Internet access is very fluid. One small improvement could be made in re. the kitchen cleaning supplies/bathroom supplies, too limited for a stay longer than a week. But overall very pleasant stay. Thank you!"

"Nous avons sejourné dans cette maison pendant 3 jours, nous étions 3 familles. Séjour compliqué... La maison était très sale à notre arrivée, intérieurement comme extérieurement. Une maison laissée à l abandon, avec de l électroménager HS, peu de vaisselle, des toilettes HS, des chambres sans lumière, des robinetteries usées à ne plus pouvoir les fermer, une odeur de moisissure... Même si la maison est bien placée par rapport au centre ville, nous ne recommandons pas ce logement."

"Studio en centre ville mais l'immeuble est très vieux la cage d'escalier sent le vieux bois rance et c'est très sale, poussières et vétusté. Les 2 fenêtres donnent sur une petite cour et surtout sur le toit d'un restaurant d'où l'on entend les pigeons et les 2 Pompes à chaleur, c'est extrêmement sale visuellement et bruyant. L'appartement n'est pas très propre les vitres sont sales et la salle de bain est très poussiéreuse. Pas de tir bouchon pas d'essoreuse à salade. Appartement bruyant si on...

"We enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Maison. The house is in a great location for walking into town and we only used the car to drive over to the Ile de Ré. Lots of green areas in close proximity to walk the dog as well as the sunny and secure garden at the back of the house which was also dog friendly."

"Had a fantastic 10 days with the family. Our host was very welcoming. Spacious and functional house, inside and out, perfect to accommodate all 13 of us with plenty of communal areas. Ideally designed so that each of our 4 family units had their own bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. Staying in La Rochelle

"This hotel is about 15 mins from La Rochelle centre - The receptionist was very friendly and professional she spoke wonderful English and explained about the room and parking how to access barriers where to go to reach the town she was marvellous The hotel is on street level and has a lift The room was adequate for 2 adults and small dog - it was spotless and had all of the requirements for our stay including a well equipped kitchenette La Rochelle has a multitude of bars and restaurants all of which were dog friendly We took a boat trip to Fort Boyard which was great and dog went as well there are other trips if you want I recommend a thrip to Ile de Rae fantastic Island a short drive or sea bus from La Rochelle had lunch at the harbour at Ile Rae fabulous "

Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites - La Rochelle Vieux Port

"Perfect location in the old port of LaRochelle. We hired an Uber driver from the train station. The area is pedestrian only, for the most part. This hotel is literally surrounded by restaurants and gelato shops. There is a market right across the walk way, and the view of the towers is spectacular. All the sights are an easy, pleasant walk. We walked to the Ferris wheel. Our room was comfortable. The ceiling above the bed is beautiful. It looks like fabric. We were on the fourth floor. We used the stairs except for when we were bring our luggage up. Air conditioning worked well. The included breakfast was plentiful. Great variety of breads, meats, hard boiled eggs and cheeses with several fresh fruit options. We ordered fried eggs and they were cooked perfectly. The breakfast lady spoke English well and was friendly and cheerful. The front desk people were pleasant and helpful. It was a bit more challenging to understand them, but we did, and everything was fine. They ordered a taxi for us to Ile De Re. The walk to meet the taxi was about two blocks. We travel lightly. Only carry on wheelie bags and a backpack. Dealing with the pedestrian only aspect was not a problem for us. If we had big luggage it would have been challenging. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. "

Room 004 Kyriad Direct Aytre

"Our room was 004. Reception did not speak English and made no attempt to understand anything. One of the doors to the car park could not be locked as it had been forced and part of the frame was missing, this meant anyone could enter the passages to rooms. Room 004: window restraint was missing so we could not open window safely. The shower head was broken, could not raised, the soap dispenser in the shower was loose. The wc seat was broken. The soap dispenser by the sink was on the floor having been pulled off the wall- hence NO soap by the sink. Bulb missing over the sink making it difficult with limited light. I have already contacted Hotels.com auto talk and told this will be looked at. The pool was very nice I have stayed at the Hotel some years ago but will not be staying again. The whole hotel needed a refresh, including the very poor buffet breakfast. Nothing could compare with a B&B Hotel!!!!"
