"The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. "Had a great time at Afissos Blu Hotel. The location is perfect, right by the sea. Just down the street are a number of tavernas and shops. The little village is quiet and picturesque, ideal for a relaxing vacation. The highlight of our stay was our host. She was extremely helpful and accommodating! "The location was perfect for visiting central Skiathos well being far enough away from the bustle. Staff were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent. Only negative was that the half shower door would not seal or stay in place. Combined with a hanging hand shower that could not be adjusted it resulted in a significant amount of water to clean up off the bathroom floor each time one of us showered."

Please note that the hotel has stairs and not one level. There is not an elevator available. Inspect your room and make sure the shower and the AC work. The staff will make it right you just have to ask them. Nice place."
