We stayed in the 3rd floor apartment - which was very spacious for 6. I will say coming from North America THE STAIRS are something to behold (I believe they at 51°) so we all definitely got our leg and glute workouts. But because we were on the top floors we had windows that fully opened on the the canals - and what a beautiful sight!!!!! The bed had 2 single matts which kept sleeping and I kept ending up in the middle. Then they demanded 50 euros extra for city tax which should be accounted in the price and additional approx 100 pounds for damage deposit? I still haven't received this back and again this demand should be declared. The room was cozy, what you would expect from an older European hotel. Right away the staff was great and got us acquainted with our room and gave us a small tour of the property. Nicknamed the garden room, our room was themed after a doctor that created the modern hospital. In it, was a marvelous (and kinda creepy) life sized metal skeleton artwork.
