Our overnight stay was pleasant. Property around motel clean and well maintained and even though an older property it definitely seems to have been recently renovated and satisfactorily clean, there were a few areas that could stand a bit of attention , such as blinds. However I would still rate it mostly satisfactory. One thing that did turn us off was the smell of tobacco smoke in room.

This is a pet-friendly motel, close to the Trans-Canada highway and and Irving restaurant. so that was great. We parked right outside the door, which made getting our car and her carrier plus our overnight bags etc. in and out easily. However, I had to clean the bathroom floor before letting the cat our of her carrier. The washcloth was gritty and grey after the wipe-down. Mopping the floors and dusting throughout the unit would be a good idea. The bathroom was very small. The result was that I had a hard time getting the carrier - a large one- into the bathroom and closing the door. We don't let our cat out into the main room so having her in the washroom would be easier if there was a glass door not a shower curtain in the bathtub. Then we could put kitty behind it and not have to worry about her escaping when we opened the door. Oh well. This would mean major renovations which realistically I don't expect any time soon. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, and the area was safe and very quiet.

The property very good. Could not use the phone it didn’t work. Clock very special didn’t get it to work either. Ordinary things are better for us travellers.
