Walk to the Silos! 3 Bed 1960's Bungalow near Baylor

Summary:
One block from the Silos and next to the famous "Shotgun House", this cute 3 bed/2 bath bungalow is the perfect spot for you and your family to explore the Magnolia market and downtown Waco. Fully restored, you'll feel like your staying in one of Joanna's "fixer uppers". With a full kitchen, washer and dryer, one King bed and 2 Queen beds, this can be your "home away from home" in the Heart of Waco.

The Space:
Sleeps 6 people! Each of the 3 bedrooms has a super-comfy queen size bed and the master suite has an attached full bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher along with pots, cooking utensils and dishes for cooking up gourmet meals while you're in town. Large washer/dryer set will take care of your laundry. And the dining table seats 6 with leaves to expand it to seat up to 10! Off-street parking makes sure you don't ever have to fight for a parking spot. :-)

The Neighborhood:
The bungalow is within short walking distance of the Magnolia Silos and downtown as well as many restaurants and fast food joints as you walk to towards I-35. Chick-fil-A, Panera bread, Torchy's Taco's, In and Out Burgers, just to name a few. One house down from the bungalow is the "Shotgun House" of Fixer-Upper fame. It's right across the highway from Baylor University so it makes a great landing pad for visiting students. 3 blocks off of Interstate 35 makes it easy to find.

Getting Around:
Walking will get you to many places but Uber and Lyft are also both available.

We were in Waco for the livestock show Heart of Texas. The house was perfect with plenty of sleeping space, beautifully decorated and accommodated with all bathroom, kitchen, and laundry necessities. Excellent stay!!

The property was very cute and had an excellent location near The Silos. You could also get to several great places to eat within 10 minutes of the location. The house was clean and well maintained. It would be a little nicer if it has some covered parking. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Super location near the Silos

This was a perfect home for a family trip. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside. Walking distance to the Silos! Quiet despite being close to freeway and multiple fast food places. Plenty of towels and amenities. So much to do in Waco! Would definitely stay again.

Great location

Great parking, everything needed is in the house. Great smart TV in the living room. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Close to pretty much all things in downtown Waco, Baylor, river. Quiet location other than the rare Train that comes by and blows the horn. Perfect place to sleep.

Great location to the Silos

The house was very clean and the accommodations were great. We walked to the Silos and Jimmy Don's store and local attractions are within minutes of driving. Communication with the property manager was great. We had a great vacation!

Cute bungalow steps away from Magnolia!

We loved our stay at this home. We were two adults and two children, 5 & 3 years old. The bungalow, was laid out very well, the bedrooms were plenty big enough and the kitchen well stocked. It was perfect for our overnight stay and a block from the Silo’s. The owners are really great to work with and we’re very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!’n

Magnolia Magic

This home is so cute, quaint and in the perfect location for not only the Magnolia Market but the shops, restaurants and musings that the city of Waco has to offer. Perfect spot for a Waco Christmas

This house was an absolute dream. So close to Magnolia Market & Silos. It was so nice to no worry about finding parking and it’s just an easy walk from the house. We were able to come & go to Magnolia Market anytime we wanted to. The house is also so conveniently located in Waco about a 10 min drive to anywhere. The house was comfortable, cute and cozy. I would stay here again for sure! Oh, the Villastay guidebook was a dream. It had answers to our questions, fantastic restaurant suggestions. It was very helpful.

Girls trip

Visiting Magnolia was one of my best friend's dream. I live in Houston and she is currently living in Thailand. Our other friend lices in Wisconsin. When we planned our yearly girls trip and they were coming to Texas is was a no brainer to come visit. It was a great location and easy to walk around Waco. We each had a room and were comfortable!

Great house near Baylor and Magnolia

We loved this house. Well maintained and well stocked. Thorough instructions for check in, getting around the city, and throughout the house. Ceiling fans in all the rooms, plenty of seating for dinner and in the living room. Stocked with everything you will need and more. Within walking distance to Magnolia Market and just across the highway from Baylor. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We will definitely be back to this house.
