Met the need

The place is quite old, but it was mostly clean. Definitely in need of a renovation. There were popcorn ceilings and rusted bathroom fixtures. Waffles or cereal for breakfast. Staff was nice.

The hotel is good. We were in New Prague for a swim meet. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Manager was great. My only complaint was the heater/AC unit. It was really loud. Woke me.up once during the night.

The fridge in our room did not work, the light in the bathroom went out (but was promptly replaced) and there were lots of small things (holes in the hall drywall, broken exit sign) that show maintenance is needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the area was well accommodated for food and convenience options.

The staff was very friendly. However, the plumbing was not great, as the tub wouldn't drain and chunks of gunk came up from the drain. Also, the light switch for the sink area was loose and would turn the light on and off if it was wiggled side to side.

The staff were very friendly and checked everyday if there was anything we needed. The pool was out of service which wasn't a deal breaker for us, as thoigh we would have enjoyed using it, didn't make our stay any less comfortable. The food for the breakfast was fresh and consistently replenished. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Some of the rooms were more dated than others and a deep clean needed in some. Otherwise, a nice place to stay. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend staying there,but I would request a more recently updated room. .

Needs some love & elbow grease

Our room was terribly damp. The sink drain & faucet were basically disgusting and in need of some major cleaning & repairs. Same for the bathtub drain. Our towels and washcloths all looked yellowish with water stains. My pillow smelled like someone else’s hair products. Upon check-in, the employee seemed friendly, but there was no info given on breakfast details or if WiFi was available etc etc … There was a dirty bandaid stuck on a table in the pool room. The mango juice dispenser didn’t work- only water came out. There were 2 dry sausage patties in the breakfast warmer & that’s it. There was a waffle maker but it didn’t look appealing. This hotel has potential, just needs better upkeep & maintenance.

Disappointed I was charged an additional $75 for 90 minute early check-in. Bed was not comfortable at all. Room, linens, and towels were clean. Happy with room conditions. Whirlpool tub in suite was nice. Personnel could be friendlier. Got yelled at the day prior to check-in when I called to see if early check-in was available. Was told $50 for early check-in. Was charged $75 the day of. No wifi password was given. No explanation of breakfast hours or pool hours was offered. Had a wedding to attend so wasn’t in the room much. Location was convenient. Ice machine was broken, however ice was offered at the front desk. Overall, the hotel was nice, but staff could be nicer. TL;DR - I’d stay again if ever returning to the area.
