"I stayed here with a group of 8 friends on a cycling tour of The Netherlands. This was the favourite hotel of everyone. From the moment we arrived until the time of our departure we really felt like guests in someone's home. Nancy and her team did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. "This is a nice hotel in the centre of De Koog, not too expensive. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom also spacious and there is good light above the mirror. The shower is good. There is a nice restaurant attached with excellent food. My only negative is that the bed was sagging in the middle, not so comfortable."

"The hotel is right in the centre of Workum and has a big terrace on the main square. Plenty of free parking close by. We were there on the busiest weekend of the year, yet still received a warm welcome and were well looked after during our 2 nights' stay. The only negative was that the (spacious) room was very cold and the aircon difficult to adjust."

"Clean large room with terrace with a great seaview love come back here in the summer for walks and bike riding. Lovely area not been here for over 40 years since I left the Netherlands. Highly recommend this hotel for a longer stay, originally only booked for one night with booked another night straight away. Amazing for water sports.
