Excellent large well equipped room with large double bed - linen and room and bathroom were spotless. Ideal venue to take 'time out' after hectic Christmas and before flying out for a holiday. There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) A little tired for such a lovely spot
The little tea shop is worth a visit. Very pleasant.
I went to Wadhurst Castle for a family wedding, and it was a stunning venue. Wadhurst is a much larger village than I had remembered from the 1970s; I was pleasantly surprised by its amenities and its accessibility to beautiful countryside.
