"We had a wonderful vacation! The property and location were just beautiful. Loved how close we were to the beach and town. Host was very responsive, house was very clean, and beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers were available which was a huge plus. Highly recommend!"

"Great space to spread out. Location is on the very far side of Hanalei Bay, so you're not within the town itself, and there was no AC, just fans. Oh, and you have to pick up and drop off keys from rental company. All that said, for the price, we loved the space. You can watch the foil boarders, SUP boarders and kite boarders who park and go out into that part of the bay right across the street and out the front windows. There is a very small patch of sandy beach right there that we did utilize, but mostly we drove into Hanalai to go to the beach, restaurants and shopping there."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is about the vibe. And by that I mean an authentic north shore experience. And that means it won't be for everyone. Kauai is humid, was 94% while we were there and this property was build in 1964 to those standards. So, that humidity is in everything. We were four 50 somethings looking for that authentic vibe so we thought it was great but again, if you are looking for blemish free, air conditioned and hotel standards, this is not your place. If you want to feel like you stepped back in time and connect with the amazing unique north Kauai environment while feeling that ocean breeze and also be just a few minutes to Hae na and Halanei, then couldn''t recommend it more."

"This is a wonderful home. It has a fabulous view from the big front deck, a very well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage space and is comfortably but nicely decorated. The bedrooms are all in the back of the house so aren't very light but the beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are also clean, nicely lit and well equipped. The only issue was that on day one we realized the a/c and fan in the en suite bedroom didn't work so we had to keep that room open to the living room or use a very loud portable window vented a/c unit which they brought over once they knew the problem couldn't be fixed during our stay. The non-functioning fan wasn't addressed. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I'm sure the a/c will be functional in the future."
