"Fantastic place to stay in Taupō. We booked a basic cabin but were given a cabin with a mini kitchen and lots of extra space. Having a kettle, microwave, sink etc was very helpful and contributed to a comfortable stay. We were also given a small bottle of milk for teas and coffees in the room. The cabin was cosy, warm, and very close to the shared bathroom facilities. The facilities at this resort were spotless, spacious and there were an abundance of showers and toilets. The thermal baths were also great and guests staying at the resort can enter at a reduced price. I would highly recommend this place and would stay again in the future!"

"The parking is angle parking and is hard to exit vehicle. Check in you need to go to the reception desk at the Milennium. Our room wasnt ready, they gave us a voucher to use at the bar."

"The shower was really dangerous for .elderly people, no safety handles on shower walls and nowhere except the floor for shampoo, caked soap etc. we will not be returning as there are no facilities for a make your own breakfast and not even a plate or knife to have some fruit"

"I spent three nights at the Millennium and found the hotel staff to be friendly and helpful. Parking was adequate, and my ground floor room was stylish, clean, and spacious, with a lovely lake view and a patio. The bathroom amenities were excellent, even including a spare bath. The pool and gym were conveniently nearby and much appreciated. The restaurant served good food along with stunning views of the lake, and with the fine weather, I enjoyed relaxing on the patio, taking in the lake and mountain scenery. The lakeside walkway just outside the patio was a great bonus. My only gripe was the poor TV reception."

"Staff were great, helpful. We loved the proximity to the lake and enjoyed a walk and cycle along the lake front and to Huka Falls. The rooms are in need of some up dating."

"Close to town area clean ,helpful , good sized kitchen. The only complaint could be about heating. Good if there was a more efficient heater since it was a very cold night"
