All necessary bathroom and kitchen equipment and facilities was adequate for what we needed. Location was also perfect for everything we needed too. The only thing that lacked was heating equipment or an easier access to be able to heat the unit. However blankets were provided which made it a very comfortable sleep and stay. "The hotel was located on a hill overlooking Lake Taupo as opposed to on the lake. We had a lovely well presented room that featured Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries ( one of my favorite brands) Staying in Lake Taupo was definitely a highlight of our trip."

"We stayed only one night but I really think this is a place you would want to spend a couple of days to get maximum benefit from everything on offer. Only issue was the soap dispenser in the shower ran out of soap while I was in the shower (last one of three to use it) other than that enjoyable stay."

"Good accommodation on the lake. Clean rooms. Need to drive to main stretch for restaurants etc so we ate in the restaurant. I’d booked ahead and specifically asked for a good window seat overlooking the lake which they didn’t reserve for us, so disappointed with that. Food was good but it felt very subdued and dated."
