"This is an authentic Austrian guesthouse with so much character and charm. We loved everything about it!! The staff were wonderful and even accommodated my brothers gluten free dietary requirements. Don’t hesitate to book this amazing place surrounded by the Alpes and meadows covered in wildflowers. It’s only a short drive to Mittenwald . We had half board and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and excellent dinner. I give it 10/10"

"An excellent hotel with a great location and delicious breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the cable car and with beautiful centre of Garmisch just around the corner. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable for the family of three. The room was very well equipped, including free beverage in the fridge (Arolser beer was a particularly good one), Nespresso machine as well as slippers and bathrobes. "This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Oberammergau. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast excellent and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed here in 2023 and again this past July in 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in Oberammergau and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. If we ever return to Oberammergau we would definitely stay here again. "
