"I was here overnight for work, and while it wasn't the best or newest/most updated place I've ever stayed, it was clean and served it's purpose. Walls are pretty thin and it was difficult to sleep as someone next to me had the television or radio on all night and it could be heard through the walls."
"All the reviews are correct. This is a great property and it is a treat to stay here. Everything is better than described, especially the coy pond area.
Breakfast is amazing, all the staff is wonderful. The room was large.
Summer Inn is a real gem."
"The room and bathroom were small but exceptionally clean! Only complaint was the cloth shower curtain joining in on the shower ;) We had a room with a patio, facing the beach, and a king size bed. The view of the sunsets was absolutely amazing!
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Guests in another room did not obey the no smoking rule. It was quickly taken care of.
The outdoor pool was open, but it wasn't very clean and some of the tiles had fallen into the pool.It is very early in the season, so we are hoping this will be fixed by our next stay.
We will definitely be staying here again!"
"I had 2 interactions with the staff outside of checking in and out and in both cases, the staff was friendly, helpful, and quickly fixed or investigated the problem. Although construction was going on, I really didn't see much evidence of it. My room was clean and very comfortable. I would go back again if I'm in the Ludington area and recommend it to others."
"Check in was nice, we checked in early. The hotel smelled like ether/spray paint, not sure what work was being done, but room smelled both days terribly, no parking available Saturday evening, finally parked and hoped car was still there in the morning, dirty towel on back of door when we got there, garbage was left in room after cleaning and bed didn’t get made. Pool and hot tub were not open.
Bed was one step from sleeping in the floor.
All in all, I would not stay again or recommend to others!"
