"My family and I had the absolute best time! This is a beautiful little cabin in a quiet area. Easily accessible and close to Weaverville, NC which offers a beautiful main st with all the southern mountain charm you could ask for. Make sure to try Twisted Laurel if you head over it is delicious and the patio is pet friendly! We brought 2 teenages and 2 small pups and they had the time of their lives. The homes is very well maintained and we loved opening the windows to enjoy the mid 60's at night in August! There is a family of ducks who wander at night and seeing lightining bugs tickled us all. Thank you to the host for making their space available we will be back! Only thing I would suggest is if you are big cookers like we are bring a little fan for the kitchen it doesnt get as much air flow but it is super well stocked with everything you could need (air fryer basket, slow cooker, griddle, plethora of pots and pans)."

"We just returned from a 7 day stay at Sticks and Stones. We chose this house for the amenities and how close it was to Black Mountain. We envisioned spending days in Black Mountain and relaxing in the evenings at the house. But the house was so amazing that we rarely went to town. It was an easy drive to town, but we loved the seclusion and peacefulness of Sticks and Stones so much it was hard to leave. The screened in porch was our favorite spot. We spent hours reading on the porch and enjoying the view. The house was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare a meal. We enjoyed time in the hot tub and played lots of pool and ping-pong. An added bonus was that we saw 11 black bears in the neighborhood and surrounding area. We enjoyed meals at Louise’s, Que Sera, Pure and Proper and the Bistro. We love stopping by the Peri Social for coffee and cocktails. All of these restaurants are dog friendly, except Que Sera. The neighborhood was difficult to walk because of the steep hills, but Lake Tomahawk is a short drive away. It is a great place to walk the dogs. We stay in the mountains every summer for a week and I have to say this was our favorite week. We did not want to leave. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants a peaceful setting, that is a short distance from great restaurants and fun shopping."

"The view from this cozy cabin was so beautiful. We could eat breakfast out on the covered deck even in the rain. Everything one needs in a kitchen was there, good cookware and cooktop. Cozy blankets helped on cool nights. Highly rrecommend."
