"From the pictures it might be hard to tell, but you are out in the woods. If you are looking for peaceful and away from the chaos of the modern world, this is your place. My favorite part was sitting out on the porch in the mornings drinking my coffee,enjoying watching and listening to the birds. We didn't get to enjoy much of the river while we there, due to weather restrictions, but it is a nice secluded spot. To get down there, I'd advise to make sure you have a decent vehicle, due to beach/sand situation, and the same goes for the drive to the cabin. It's down a dirt back road, so slow going is your best bet. Since it's out a bit, phone coverage was non-existent. Make sure to do any info/communication in town if you need to. That being said, if you are someone that has a hard time disconnecting from the digital world,it might be a bit difficult adjustment. However, if that is just what you are looking for it's right up your alley."

"This place is amazing, very clean, a lot of room for everyone and still had space to spread out whether it was out on one of the porches or inside the huge living room, kitchen dining area. The host was very responsive on any messages about the place, would definitely recommend. We had a group of 6 plus and got to hit the trails and had a relaxing place to come back to. Thanks so much, would love you stay here again."

"Me and five of my old college friends get together a couple of times a year for a cabin weekend full of good food, hiking, campfires, and great views. This underground cabin is the most unique property we've stayed at. If you want to sleep in, you can't get any better than inside the cabin! You can also camp over the top of the cabin as well. The primary view of the valley is fantastic and communication with the owner was easy and really helpful. If you're looking for a truly unique experience in the Ozarks - this is THE place to be! We will most certainly be coming back! "
