This detached bungalow stands on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold, on a spacious forest plot of no less than 1850 m². Enjoy a drink of your choice on the (covered) terrace or warm up by the cosy fire pit under the arbour! Ideal for lovers of peace, space and nature!

The immediate surroundings are perfect for making beautiful walks and cycling trips. The Drents-Friese Woud nature reserve is home to the largest shifting sands area in the Netherlands with beautiful cycle paths. The Vlinderparadijs (butterfly paradise) and a golf course can be found in the village of Havelte, situated further down. Admire the Hunebedden in Diever, known for the 'Shakespeare' performances, or make a trip to the Zoo in Emmen.

The unique holiday home is comfortably and colourfully furnished. You will enjoy the space in the atmospheric living room, the complete kitchen and fine bathroom with shower. The holiday home is surrounded by a spacious garden with a pond.

Wij zijn alweer een week aan het werk maar wat hebben wij genoten van een heerlijke vakantie bij De Botterviever Wat een geweldig huis en buiten verblijf.......en die rust! In het echt is het nog mooier dan op de foto's. Het ontbrak er aan niets. Onze hond kon heerlijk los lopen rondom het huis echt ideaal. We hebben heerlijk gewandeld en gefietst in de schitterende omgeving en met de auto leuke plaatsjes op gaan zoeken. Het is een echte aanrader om hier naar toe te gaan! Complimenten aan de lieve gastheer en gastvrouw!! Groetjes Aad Molenkamp, Henneke Paesens en een poot van onze hond Arrèl.

Bij aankomst heel vriendelik ontvangen door De eigenaar en zijn vrouw, daarna even wat uitleg waar wat is en hoe het werkt,in iedergeval heel vriendelijk. Wij werden overvallen door zoveel mooie elementen op deze vakantiestemming ook al de ruimte die daar is fantastisch gewoon. Ook waren wij verrast door de compleetheid van allerlei dingen ( van een pleistertje tot een naald en draad , heel veel bestek ) die je nodig hebt om een onbezorgde vakantie te hebben. Ook de omgeving buiten de locatie veel ruimte en het voordeel voor ons was het prachtige weer en wij hebben dan ook veel genoten van de omgeving samen met onze jonge hond Sam. Het huis ,de omgeving, de buren , maar vooral de prachtig aangelegde tuin met die fantastisch aangelegde vijver een lust om naar te kijken en de vrijheid die je daar ervaart. Wij zijn zeker van plan om volgend jaar hier terug komen om weer te mogen genieten van de rust en de vogels die daar met hun gezang het geheel een heerlijk tijd gaf aan onze aanwezigheid. wij hebben nog nooit bij wat voor vakantiebestemming wij ook waren zoveel bordjes lepels vorken kopjes e.d. gezien ,wat een gemak. Wij waren hier van 9 juni tot en met 23 juni. Joop en Thea Veldhuis-Bruijns.

Super charmant huis. Alles erop en eraan, slaapkamers wel gehorig. Prieeltje met openhaard echt te gek. En ook de tuin is erg goed onderhouden. Onze kinderen van 7 en 11 hebben zich er prima in vermaakt.

Met vriendinnen heb ik een weekend genoten. Hartelijke en persoonlijke ontvangst in een heerlijk huisje. Uitzicht over de weilanden en in het zonnetje buiten kunnen ontbijten genietend van de kwetterende vogels en rust. Ligging is centraal voor uitstapjes als Veenhuizen, fietsen en wandelen. Alles in het huisje aanwezig, open haard, vaatwasmachine, oven en zelfs een wasmachine. De bedden al opgemaakt bij aankomst en een fles wijn stond klaar....bedankt!

Dit is een geweldig leuk vakantiehuis. Wij waren er eind december 2016 en hebben er Kerst gevierd met onze twee dochters en onze hond. Het huis is zeer compleet ingericht en heeft een prachtige grote tuin rondom. Het ligt op een vakantiepark maar dat is zeker geen nadeel. Het is een rustig park en het uitzicht vanuit het huis is prachtig. In de omgeving is voldoende te doen. Giethoorn ligt op 30 minuten rijden en Groningen ook.
