About this property

The Artful Dome Mtn Retreat in the Smokies with fire pit , hot tub & stream

  • Next door to The Biodome Sanctuary you will stay in a modern RV - Glamper with 2 queen beds (one soft, one firm), 2 Smart TVs, WIFI and full kitchen. Outside you will find a BBQ Grill and table, patio with lounge chairs for sunbathing, star gazing, outside grilling and dining. On the covered porch you will find a hot tub for 3 plus a copper rain shower as well as another dining table for 4. Inside the Biodome practice yoga or meditation; enjoy playing your instruments, connecting to a 5 speaker system with your bluetooth to play your favorite music or just hanging out on our swing day bed while soaking in the energy of this magnificent structure, which was the brain-child of singer-songwriter John Denver. Denver christened this dome in 1986 after his team built this duplicate Buckminster Fuller designed dome. Outside we have a rushing stream and firepit. We call the adjacent building “Almost Heaven”. You will see why staying here is almost heaven! We love pets but only allow 50 pound or less, non-shedding dogs with a small fee which goes to the housekeeper for extra cleaning.
