Beautiful Stay!

We enjoyed a few nights here in mid November. It was a comfortable, clean, cozy cabin, with all the amenities we needed, AND an amazing view. The hot tub was a perk that we also utilized. WiFi was good, for those who needed to check in at work and those that wanted to stream in the evening. The neighborhood was quiet and the area was nice to visit. Thank you!

The View

This was a birthday trip for a family member. Per his request the accommodations must have a great view. This lovely cabin did not disappoint! The amazing view, late nights or quite afternoons in the hot tub (with or without a glass of wine), family game nights every night, comfy beds, plenty of parking area, hanging out around the camp fire, wind chimes singing in the background, close by all the activities we had planned, and perfect picture taking opportunities were some of our favorite things about this cabin. Would highly recommend this cabin! Thanks for sharing your cabin with my family and I for our fun getaway.

The most relaxing spring break..

We really enjoyed this cabin.. The views were amazing. The ride up the mountains was a little challenging specially for us Floridians, but it was worth it. Radar ( a very friendly dog from one of the neighbor houses) came to our cabin to say hello . The jacuzzi and the fire pit was a plus.

Peaceful paradise

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was exactly what we all needed. Cabin was as described. It was clean and very well equipped. The view was incredible. We even had a rainbow welcoming us. Birds singing all day, fireflies show at the night... Just beautiful. Would love to visit again.

Perfect family getaway

Well thought out rental with nice little extras. Fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Amazing views and enjoyable hot tub. Perfect for a family getaway. Large dining table was great for meals and playing cards. Prompt replies to any inquiries such as when the area lost water for a few hours. Would definitely suggest the longer paved approach up the mountain. Though our cars made it up the adventurous side, it was much less nerve racking on the longer paved side.

Perfect family getaway

This was a wonderful place to stay for our little family reunion. They had lots of little extras such as fans in every room and plenty of pool towels. The kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were all very comfortable. The view is amazing! Every evening soaking in the hot tub was great after a steep hike or hours on your feet at the Biltmore. Communication was prompt such as when the area lost water for a few hours. The large dining table was great for meals and playing cards. We would definitely recommend taking the longer more paved route to the house. While our cars made it up the other way, it caused much more anxiety. It was surprising that you could hear the trucks down on the highway below. But it was low enough you could ignore it. Overall a well thought out rental that I would definitely recommend.

Slice of Heaven

We were looking for a property to have a girl’s weekend (my daughters, niece, and sister) to do Christmas crafts, cook, and enjoy each other’s company. Wow! This mountain cabin truly exceeded all our expectations. The property is literally close to the top of a mountain with stunning views and magnificent sunrises/sunsets. The wraparound porch was beautifully furnished and we enjoyed sitting out there enjoying our cocktails and the view. The cabin was super clean, very spacious, and the amenities provided were the best I’ve ever seen in a vacation rental. We are a family that loves to cook (some professional chefs among us) and the kitchen was fully stocked with the appliances and cookware we needed to prepare meals. All the cabinets were clearly labeled with the contents so no need to search. High end stainless steel cookware, plenty of baking pans, endless kitchen gadgets, 2 different coffee pots, electric tea kettle, and even a Kitchenaid stand mixer? Furniture in the living room was super comfy with lots of pillows and even a basket of flannel throws to use while we watched some Christmas movies. Bedrooms were super comfy with very nice linens and huge walk in closets. We even found fans in the closets for those of us who like the noise to lull us to sleep. Hot tub was perfect and our group loved getting in at dusk. The downtown area of Waynesville was charming with cute shops and plenty of restaurants to choose from. I would highly recommend this cabin and would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Already planning our next girl’s weekend at this cabin!!

Magnificent view.

The view is stunning. This is the best spot to meet the sunrise and see the Blue Ridge mountains change during the day. The cabin was very clean and properly stuffed with high-quality kitchenware and coffee/tea appliances. You see from the first step the owners' touch of care and love of their cabin. Donna answered the call right away and helped us with our question on arrival. The road might seem scary on the arrival, but it's not bad after some practice. We preferred the Cove Creek way, then Joe Carver Rd to get to the cottage. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would like to come back soon.
