"There are lots of workers staying at the hotel. They were super loud until 2-3am playing music from their trucks in the parking lot which is right up against the hotel rooms and drinking out on the walkways. There are shipping containers stacked in the parking lot. The night clerk was contacted to ask for assistance with the noise level and said “there is nothing I can do about it.” We were supposed to stay 4 nights but left after one night after getting very little sleep. The hotel did agree to refund the remainder of our stay. But it caused an inconvenience and a waste of one of our vacation days having to check out and then check into another hotel. "

"What a fantastic little gem on Balsam Mtn! Highly recommended for any small group, or just a couple nights away by yourself (which I did). The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and so clean! The screened porch is what sold me on the property, and I was not disappointed. I think I spent more time on the porch than I did inside! The kitchen is lovely and well appointed! Only recommendation I would have is to add a small air fryer or a toaster, but I think just about everything else is available and in great shape! I hated to leave and can’t wait to be back! Take the 4 wheel drive recommendation on the listing seriously, but run (don’t walk) to book your own stay here!! You can thank me later! Best host I’ve ever had! "

"We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin in Waynesville! It was the perfect mountain getaway and exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin was incredibly cozy, clean, and welcoming, and it had everything we needed to feel right at home.During our stay we went snow tubing nearby, which was such a fun highlight, and we loved exploring the area. One of our favorite little surprises was finding a spot down the road selling fresh eggs on the honor system—such a charming touch that made the trip feel even more special. We also spent time antiquing around town and found some great little shops.The location was ideal—peaceful and relaxing but still close enough to everything we wanted to do. After busy days out exploring, it was so nice to come back to the cabin and unwind.We truly had a great experience and made some really special memories here. Would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape!"
